Firefox 2.0 sucks
It’s slow, it’s ugly, it’s buggy, it’s a step backward from v.1.5. I could go on, but I won’t.
Firefox reminds me of today’s Democrats: no identity other than “we’re not the other guys.” It takes more to make a browser good than simply not being IE. And considering the timing of IE7’s release, I consider FF2.0’s utter and complete lameness puzzling. Is anyone paying attention at Mozilla?
If not for extensions like the web developer toolbar, I’d delete Firefox entirely. What a P.O.S.
Back to Camino, I guess.
Update: Of course, I speak from a Mac standpoint only. Perhaps FF2.0 rocks on Windows and Linux. Who knows. On Macs, it’s always been somewhat lacking.

Don’t get 2.0. Go for 3.0. It’s da bomb!

3.0, huh? I’ll crank up my time machine and get right on that.

Firfox 2.0 SUCKS! Reasons so far:
The house icon looks terrible
It does not retain my bookmarks after importing them and closing
For some reason numerous “Untitled” tabs kept piling up
The Search Engine Box does not work, and does not close when you choose the cancel button
When you save a bookmark, it makes you enter descriptive information or title in order to save it (was automatic in past)
I had had enough by then and put 1.5.8 back on which can be found here:
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
Never had a problem with this version and should have known better not to jump to latest, greatest, bloated, buggy, POS, that 2.0 is.
P.S. I found this blog by Googling “Firefox 2.0 Sucks”

Wow, your experiences are worse than mine. FF2 really is a POS, isn’t it?
Wowza… (And thanks for popping by!)

Yes it really sucks, I am using it on windows 2000.

I’m using FF2.0 under Linux simply for the reason that I am too lazy to to back to 1.5.
2.0 just EATS memory. I run it for 20 min and the swap starts thrashing like mad.
I should either downgrade or bind “killall -9 firefox-bin” to some key combination.
