Photoshop CS3 Beta

Am I the only person hitting reload again and again on John Nack’s blog waiting for the “IT’S READY” signal? I’ve downloaded the beta and installed it, but Adobe’s registration page isn’t currently accepting CS2 serial numbers (at least not for educational versions of the software) so I can’t get a beta serial number. I guess you could say I’m anxious to try this.

Photoshop CS2 (hell, ALL of CS2) on Intel Macs can be painful. This beta will be the first time I’ll be able to see the true power of my 2 GHz Core Duo rig.

I’m such a loser. Aren’t there more important things to do?

[Update: Okay, I broke down and began my 2-day trial. I’m sure I’ll be able to snag a beta serial number in 2 days. All I can say is HOLY SHIZNIT, this is how Photoshop is SUPPOSED to run. A 178MB PSD (used for one of my clocks, shown elsewhere) opened in less than a minute, about the same time I’d have 1/4″ of progress with PS CS2. A 4.5MB JPEG loaded in seconds. Panning works without waviness. The UI is awesome. Blah blah blah. Unfrigginbelievable…]
