I just noticed that Flickr has added self- and staff-moderation capabilities to photostreams. Hopefully this will put the NIPSA (Not In Public Site Area) illustrator smack-downs to rest. Some of the most interesting stuff on Flickr ISN’T photographic, at least not overtly.

‘Nuff said.

Yeah, it’s a stretch to call this a “gravity” illustration. I’m doing it anyway, though, because gravity plays a big part in the tension/motion of the image. I’ve never seen a baseball fly like this.

Perhaps this is the negation of gravity? Dunno.

I knew some day I’d be able to play the Illustration Friday game, but so far I’ve been SOL. This illustration was actually created a number of months ago for a school project. I may be the only person who likes it. The jury’s still out.
